(Camp for older ages at Octane Raceway next door to Mavrix.)
We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Engineering for Kids! Every week, campers will learn about various fields of engineering and science, enjoy unlimited access to the arcade games during breaks in addition to scheduled bowling and laser tag games throughout the week.

Camp price:
Prices vary from week to week due to demand and other factors. EFK now offers no-interest payment plans! During checkout, select a payment plan and follow the instructions.
Age groups:
Apprentice Mixed (entering 1st to 4th grade in the fall)
(Our Master camp for kids entering 5th to 9th grade is being hosted at Octane Raceway next door to Mavrix.)
Camp schedule:
8:00am-8:30am – Drop-off
8:30am-11:30am – AM session with 20 minute break (AM half-day option)
11:30am-12:30pm – Lunch with break
12:30pm-3:30pm – PM session with 20 minute break (PM half-day option)
3:30pm – Pick-up
3:30pm-6:00pm – Optional Extended Care
Breaks
Campers will have one break per AM and PM session and a longer break after eating lunch. At Mavrix, campers will enjoy unlimited play in the sprawling arcade area in addition to scheduled bowling and laser tag games throughout the week.
Lunch
Due to state regulations for full-service kitchens, Mavrix is unable allow outside food. All food must be purchased from Mavrix on the first day of camp each week. Lunches and healthy snacks will be provided to all campers by Mavrix according to the following weekly pricing schedule:
Full-day camps: $50 (tax not included) = 5 hot lunches with drink and 10 healthy snacks
The full list of lunch options will be available at sign-in on the first day of camp. (Prices will be adjusted for the four-day holiday weeks.) Please let us know on the first day of camp and through the child information form you complete during registration if there are any allergies we should be aware of and this information will be passed along to the instructors and Mavrix’s kitchen staff.
Extended Care
$75/week or $25/daily. From 3:30pm up to 6pm each day, your child will continue to enjoy the Mavrix arcade.
Regarding Safety and Our Instructors
At EFK, safety is our #1 priority. All campers will receive a green wristband each day for identification which the facility staff also recognize. EFK’s staff will have ID badges and will be wearing official EFK shirts. Our STEM instructors are background-checked and have current fingerprint clearance cards. They receive training on our curriculum and in areas of classroom management. All of our lead instructors are either state-certified teachers or have years of experience in STEM and/or education fields.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellation and change requests must be submitted in writing by emailing us at phoenixinfo@engineeringforkids.com. For fastest service, simply reply to your invoice email. No refunds are given when cancelling 15 or fewer days from the start date of the camp. For all approved cancellations, you may choose between either a full account credit or a refund minus a 3% processing fee. By registering, you reserve a seat in our camp. As such, EFK is not able to provide a refund or credit for any absence or tardiness that occurs during your scheduled session including those related to illness.
